Fleetwood Mac’s career has spawned multiple hit albums and equally successful tours. The last tour ended in 2015 and fans have eagerly anticipated another. Talks have gone around since the last tour about a possible late 2017 tour, however, nothing was confirmed. The most current touring information has been released through press interviews rather than on their website.
Christine McVie discussed a 2018 tour in a recent press interview with Uncut magazine. McVie stated the 2018 tour is going to be a farewell tour, but even she doubted it would be their last. She said, “The 2018 tour is supposed to be a farewell tour…But you take farewell tours one at a time. Somehow we always come together, this unit. We can feel it ourselves (uncut).” The members of Fleetwood Mac have been known to take time off from the band, work on solo projects (many times with fellow bandmates involved), and yet, all of them eventually come back into the fold. McVie talked of an umbilical cord that can’t be broken that brings everyone back in.

While McVie spoke about a 2018 tour, Fleetwood Mac has not officially announced any tour. There have been talks in press interviews the past couple of years of new tours, however, nothing has officially been scheduled. What is known right now is a scheduled headlining at two summer music festivals with the Eagles in 2017. Again, these have not been publicly announced on their website as of this writing, but since the festivals are far beyond mere planning stages, an announcement is likely to be very soon. Likewise, the 2018 tour appears to be in talks as of this time. Nothing definitive has been confirmed, denied, or scheduled. Fans will need to wait a while longer to find out when Fleetwood Mac will hit the concert circuit again, and if it will be their last.
Fleetwood Mac’s last toured ended in 2015 and fans have eagerly anticipated another opportunity to see them live. The band is scheduled to headline two summer festivals this year, but nothing has been confirmed on their website. Talks in the press also indicate a farewell tour in 2018, however, fans will need to wait to find out if the 2018 tour will be their farewell. McVie has her doubts since the group always come back together.
