Billy Joel is known to bring guest artists on stage with him. From Kevin Spacey to John Mellencamp and many more, Joel’s concerts not only showcase his amazing discography of music, they also bring out special performances. The piano man is currently out on tour across the country and recently had a concert in L.A. While performing at Dodgers Stadium, Billy Joel surprised the audience with special guests Axl Rose and Pink.
Guns-n-Roses singer Axl Rose was the first guest artist to join Joel on stage at Dodgers Stadium. Singing “Highway to Hell” by AC/DC with Billy, the guest appearance had the audience roaring. Axl Rose recently stepped in for AC/DC’s Brian Johnson for their last tour, so having him sing the rock anthem seemed appropriate. Billy Joel has also performed the song at many of his live concerts in recent years. Axl returned later on for encores helping Billy sing “Big Shot”. Axl wasn’t the only guest artist to appear at Dodgers Stadium.

P!nk also joined Joel on stage for a rendition of “New York State of Mind” while he was in L.A. The pair sang his love song to New York in glorious perfection. Switching back and forth with each verse, both P!nk and Joel were spot on. The duo also performed P!nk’s “Try”. This isn’t the first time P!nk and Joel have performed together. The pair performed “She’s Always a Woman” at a town hall meeting hosted by Howard Stern in 2014.

As Billy continues to make his way around the country, fans can wait in anticipation to see who Billy surprises them with next.
