The clear single discs are pressed with a brown coffee-like liquid inside the vinyl, and all 1,000 copies were purchased immediately after being announced on Friday (April 11). “Sold out before i could post but 😍😍” Carpenter wrote in her Instagram Stories that reposted the video featuring images of the distinctive release. The high demand for the unique vinyl reflects the immense success of the song, which earned Carpenter her first Top 10 hit and a Grammy award for Best Pop Solo Performance. “Espresso” not only led to a No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 for Carpenter with Short n’ Sweet, but it was also named the most-streamed song of 2024 on Spotify, accumulating over 1.6 billion streams.
